Founded in March, 2017, Lanzhou Guangtong New Energy Automobile Co., LTD. ( "Lanzhou Guangtong") is the only enterprise with bus production qualification in Gansu Province. And the predecessor of Lanzhou Guangtong was Gansu Tuoling Bus Factory. Lanzhou Guangtong now mainly produces pure electric bus, the product coverage of pure electric buses, highway buses, airport shuttles, commercial vehicles, delivery vehicles, large-scale power batteries, energy storage products and other products. In addition, according to users’ need, Lanzhou Guangtong can choose to assemble the various configurations such as luxury interiors, aeronautical seats, air suspension and others for urban buses, intercity and tourism buses, group shuttles, special vehicles, etc.
Lanzhou Guangtong actively seized the construction opportunity of the country's "The Belt and Road" and explored the overseas new energy vehicle market. In 2019, Lanzhou Guangtong acquired and restructured the Ikarbus Automobile Factory in Belgrade, Serbia. At the end of 2018, the company obtained the vehicle export qualification approved by the Ministry of Commerce. As the first enterprise with the bus and parts export qualification in Gansu Province, Lanzhou Guangtong will introduce new energy buses and logistics vehicles into the European market at the fastest speed.
Lanzhou Guangtong possesses a modern bus production line with world-class standards, such as parts workshops, welding workshops, painting workshops, chassis workshops, general assembly workshops and the inspection lines for the whole vehicle. Meanwhile, Lanzhou Guangtong is capable to produce 2000 new energy buses, 1000 bus chassis, and 1500 modified vehicles and logistics vehicles annually.
Lanzhou Guangtong is located in Lanzhou New Area which is an important transit point under ”The Belt and Road ", as well as the fifth national level new area. With the convenience of 10 railways including Lanzhou–Xinjiang Railway, Baotou-Lanzhou Railway, Lanzhou-Zhangye Intercity Railway, and Yinchuan-Lanzhou Railway. On top of that, there are 7 external expressways to be connected to the surrounding cities, and 3 planned fast channels to connect with the main urban areas of Lanzhou. Thus the transportation is so convenient. Lanzhou Guangtong is planned to cover a total area of 724,670.29 square meters, of which the total construction area of the first phase is 445,229.56 square meters. And the total construction area is 180,000 square meters. Lanzhou Guangtong possess a complete set of bus production plants, modification plants for delivery vehicles and other assembly workshops according to top world class standards. Moreover, Lanzhou Guangtong will invest in the construction of large-scale power batteries and energy storage production lines in the second phase.
